Made for my friend Kevin who very kindly drives me to the Glitter Pot, a local craft shop, every now and again. Last time we were there he made a point of showing me these Pebbles Inc papers and telling me how much he liked them, really really liked them - and did I remember his birthday was coming up in August? Oh, and he'd lost his bookmark and so needed a new one. Well, I can take hints LOL!
I removed the metal cake from a larger embellishment and it was the perfect size for an oval spinner aperture. The 'Make A Wish' stamp was stamped on the reverse of the spinner in silver and embossed with silver EP.
I cut a strip of the dots paper, glued it to thick white card and added an eyelet and ribbon to make the bookmark. I glued the blue strip across the card but left a glueless gap for the bookmark to slide behind. I used a Sizzix photo turn die and a brad to keep the bookmark in place. Message was printed on the PC - Copperplate Gothic Light font used.

Wow! Kevin is a lucky guy to have a friend like you. I like the oval shape for the suspension card. The cake on one side and candles on the other is a great idea. The metal charm on one side and the stamped, embossed image on the other was a stroke of genius. I love bookmark cards as they are pro-active, not just sitting there being pretty, they invite the receiver to use part of the card. Kevin was smart to <hint> which papers he liked.;) CroShayLady
